The Dimensity 1080 features an updated octa-core CPU with two Arm Cortex-A78 CPU cores functioning at up to 2.6GHz, as well as an Arm Mali-G68 GPU, providing speedier performance whether users are gaming, streaming, or surfing. The chipset’s 6nm architecture offers a slew of power-saving improvements that result in increased battery life.

The Dimensity 1080 has a 200MP primary camera and MediaTek’s Imagiq image signal processor (ISP), thus it has all the newest camera features that customers need to shoot ultra high-quality images and movies. Furthermore, the chipset incorporates a hardware-accelerated HDR video recording engine capable of processing up to 4K resolution, providing improved video capture quality in all lighting circumstances to the streamer generation.
