The release of Google’s Pixel Tablet has undoubtedly taken a very long time. Even though one was put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace back in December, it hasn’t been official since it was first hinted at in May 2022. Today, a fresh rumour from a typically trustworthy source adds some more information about the impending device.
Even though it isn’t official yet, the Pixel Fold might as well be. We received renders last month. A purported dummy model of the Pixel foldable was obtained by Dave2D, who extrapolated a variety of details from the largely featureless plastic.
We see a phone that appears quite similar to the smaller Pixel 7, however, the size and proportions, particularly of the camera cutout with respect to the bar, are significantly different.
Because hardware development takes years, today’s leak revealing the Google Pixel roadmap through 2025 is spot on. If Google keeps planning, the next three years of Pixel phones demonstrate Google’s aim to deliver a range of devices that more than mimic the iPhone in terms of diversity.
