Although the new earplug set is not the most exciting thing at the Samsung Unpacked event next month, leaks keep happening and it is the official app today. It shows all the colors of Galaxy Buds 2 and also shows a list of functions.
A developer named Tim Schneeberger (via XDA) managed to obtain a companion app for Galaxy Buds 2, which was used to activate certain functions of these headsets in the Galaxy Wearable app. The APK seems to be found on Samsung’s update server. Although it is not the final version, there is basically no room for imagination.
The biggest discovery here is to show the overall rendering of the Galaxy Buds 2. Previous leaks showed white, green and purple variants, but here we also see black and yellow variants. These images also give us a better understanding of what color will be personal, especially green. In addition, the APK also provides a variety of Galaxy Buds 2 features, including customizable touch settings, active noise reduction and noise control of ambient noise, and popular Samsung functions such as reading notifications and equalizer.
In most cases, we are reviewing simplified versions of the features available in Galaxy Buds Pro, and one of the most notable missing features is the lack of 360-degree audio. There is also a redesigned battery screen. Galaxy Buds 2 is expected to be unveiled with Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Watch 4 series on August 11.
