Motorola China has revealed that a new 200MP camera phone would be released in July. Most likely, this is the long-rumoured Motorola Frontier smartphone, which has been circulating since last year. The new trailer touts the 200MP camera sensor as a new image experience benchmark.
Motorola is rumoured to feature Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor, according to previous rumours. Using pixel binning and a deep learning-based remosaicing method, the sensor can produce 12.5MP or 50MP stills. The sensor can also record 8K video at 30 frames per second.

Motorola has also revealed that it is working on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ phone, which might be the handset that would premiere the 200MP camera sensor.
The Motorola Frontier is said to have a curved 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 60-megapixel selfie camera. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus CPU, which will be combined with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, is also confirmed. According to rumours, the phone will have a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W wired charging and wireless charging rates ranging from 30W to 50W.
