Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, a long-awaited Samsung smartphone, will be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 next month. As the launch date approaches, we discover more about the phone, albeit much of the essential information has already been released.
The renderings show a design that has now become familiar. There is a hole on the front panel to accommodate the selfie camera where there is a set of three camera sensors on the back in the upper left corner, just like the original Galaxy S21. While the smartphone will launch in January, it is believed to have a soft launch rather than a dedicated special event. Additionally, the initial supply is expected to be low due to the current chip shortage.
A recent report revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE could launch in India around the same time as the global launch, which is in January 2022. In India, the phone is expected to be available in four colours: white, black, pink. and green.
Based on rumours and rumours so far, the phone has a 6.4-inch Full HD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the company’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset or the company’s Exynos 2100 chipsets, depending on the model region. It comes in two memory variants: 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a 4,380mAh battery and support 25W fast charging technology.
It will likely ship with the Android 11 operating system and the Samsung OneUI 3.1 custom skin. As for the camera department, the device will have a 64 MP main sensor, combined with a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensor. The phone could accommodate a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chat.
