Google Maps will soon help you plan your journey better by adding toll amounts along your route. So you may select the one that is less expensive or has no tolls.
The functionality is now accessible for iOS and Android users in the United States, India, Japan, and Indonesia, with support for other countries on the way. Previously, Google Maps would only display whether a route had tolls.

The company obtained toll costs from local governments for roughly 2,000 roadways in those nations. It’s not much in comparison to the extensive network of roads in these areas, but it’s a start.
“We take into account things like whether you have a toll pass or not, the day of the week, and how much the toll is expected to be.” to cost at the particular moment you’ll be crossing it,” the firm wrote in a forum post.
“You will have the choice inside settings to show toll charges with or without a toll pass–as the price varies by geography and payment type.”
The Google Maps toggle to display toll costs is enabled by default, but you may disable it by going to Settings> Navigation> See Toll Prices.
This functionality was initially introduced by the firm in April. However, we’ve just recently noticed tweets about the functionality becoming available to users. The new Google Maps forum post verifies the expanded availability.
The app makes it easy to check the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the location you’re visiting last week.
