In September of last year, Apple unveiled the 9th generation iPad. The business is now working on the lineup for the next-generation iPad, which might debut as the iPad 2022 or the 10th generation iPad/iPad 10th Gen. Now, MySmartPrice has obtained unique CAD renderings of the next Apple iPad from a case manufacturer ahead of the expected debut, which is most likely to take place in the upcoming months.
We can see the tablet’s design and several other important aspects from these RAW CAD renderings. According to earlier speculations, the future iPad may move to USB Type-C for data transfer and charging. Let’s look at the CAD renderings and other information on the next iPad.
CAD Render of iPad 2022 Shows Design
According to the CAD renderings below, the front of the 10th generation iPad 2022 will approach the front of the 9th generation iPad with the camera on top and Touch ID at the bottom of the display. The large bezels on all four sides are also visible. The rear of the next iPad seems to have a single camera, much like the current model. In contrast to the 9th Gen, the 10th Gen appears to include an LED flash and a camera island based on these photos. The Apple logo is also seen on the rear.
We can also see the speaker coming out of the device’s bottom and top, so we may conclude that the iPad will have a quad-speaker system. The power button is also visible up top. The volume rockers are visible to the side. The CAD images of the device have a red mark on them, so the location of the charging port is still unknown. However, it’s still unclear whether Apple will switch to Type-C or keep with the lighting port. According to a tip from a few months ago, Apple may include a USB Type-C connection on the upcoming iPad.
The next iPad 2022 is rumoured to have a bigger screen than its predecessor and be broader but slimmer than the current model, measuring 248.62 x 179.50 x 6.98mm.
Apple iPad 10th Generation Expected Features
The Apple A14 processor, which is also included in the iPad Air 4th generation and the iPhone 12 series, is expected to power the upcoming Apple iPad. The SoC is also 5G network compatible. Additionally, Apple may use a bigger 10.5-inch or 10.9-inch Retina display. Finally, the iPad is rumoured to include a USB Type-C connection and ship with the most recent version of the iPad OS.
