Samsung is introducing a new model of its well-known Bluetooth headphones with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro that has active noise cancellation to deliver the best audio quality. We have finally located official marketing materials, including technical information.
On August 10, the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro will be formally unveiled. The devices are scheduled to go on sale in the majority of nations on August 26, 2022. They receive a new design and include “Intelligent Active Noise Cancellation,” which allows “even the loudest ambient noise” to be hidden, among other things.
In addition to other things, Samsung claims studio-quality audio and intends to provide a digital surround experience with the aid of 360-degree audio, which will allow the user to adjust the audio. To be heard as clearly as possible by the person you are speaking to, the user’s voice should be able to be ideally distinguished from other noises while using HD Voice.
eight hours of continuous usage on a single charge and IPX7 water resistance
Ambient mode is immediately started as soon as the wearer’s voice is identified using a unique conversation mode. The headphones then enable background sounds to pass through, allowing you to converse with the individual sitting across from you without having to take off your headphones or turn off your active noise cancellation listening device.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro are water-resistant and can sustain immersion for up to 30 minutes in one metre of water thanks to an IPX7 certification. This, at least according to official sources, is only applicable to standing fresh water.
The Buds2 Pro cover three built-in microphones in addition to a tiny speaker with a diameter of 10 millimetres. Although we don’t yet know how long the duration will be with Active Noise Canceling turned on, they may be used for up to eight hours on a single charge. By multiple recharging with the attached carry case and the battery it contains, the running life may be increased to up to 29 hours.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro connects to the host smartphone via Bluetooth 5.3, and the case may be charged using a USB-C connector. The new Bluetooth True Wireless headphones from Samsung will cost €229 in Europe and come in Zenith Grey, Bora Purple, and Zenith White.
