The eagerly anticipated list has arrived. The Android 13-based One UI 5 is now available. As usual, there are a number of users that are currently waiting. Some consumers are aware that they will get the most recent update. Others are unsure if they will receive the new software update or not.
Many user questions can be found in the comment sections. A large number of consumers are asking about the status of their devices. There have also been several reports that some well-known names did not make the list.
As usual, the list has some unexpected names and also includes some startling omissions. There are several smartphones that are not on the list but are more than capable of running Android 13 and the One UI 5. As a result, age is a factor in this situation as well and cannot be ignored.
Let’s see which device made the list without further ado. These are Samsung’s official names. It is therefore time to upgrade to a more recent version of your phone if your device is not on the list.

At least based on the Samsung list, that will be all. The OTA updates will switch from one model to the next and from one area to another. So, if your gadget is on the list, simply be patient and wait for your turn.
The newest names on the list will always be the ones leading the way for the next update. We are therefore examining the Galaxy S22 series in this instance. The newest operating system will first be released for the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra.
Not to mention foldable technology. The Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 owners should be among the first to receive this upgrade, according to expectations.
The Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus, the Galaxy S10 and S10 plus, and other items are among the surprising omissions from the list. The fact that these phones are not on the list of devices receiving the newest OS upgrade is rather regrettable. For their flagship models, Samsung just pledged four years of system updates.
In light of the fact that these phones are only three years old, we had sincere doubts that Samsung would begin with them. However, it appears that Samsung’s four-year update guarantee only applies to their most recent models.
