Apple unveiled a fully revamped MacBook Air and an upgraded 13-inch MacBook Pro, both of which are powered by the new M2 processor, which improves on the M1 groundbreaking performance and capabilities. The MacBook Air takes everything that people love about the world’s best-selling notebook and amplifies it. MacBook Air has a bigger 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a four-speaker sound system, up to 18 hours of battery life, and MagSafe charging, as well as an all-new, breathtakingly thin design and even greater speed. It now comes in four different colours: silver, space grey, midnight, and starlight. M2 is also available for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which is the world’s second most popular laptop.

M2 Boosts Apple’s Most Popular Systems
M2 kicks off the second generation of Apple’s M-series CPUs and expands on the outstanding features of M1. This new processor adds even more speed and capabilities to Apple’s most popular Mac laptops, the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MacBook Pro, thanks to industry-leading power efficiency, a unified memory architecture, and unique innovations. M2 has a next-generation 8-core CPU with speed and efficiency improvements, as well as Apple’s next-generation GPU, which now has up to 10 cores – two more than M1.
M2 has a unified memory bandwidth of 100GB/s and supports up to 24GB of rapid unified memory, allowing it to handle bigger and more complicated workloads with ease. The All-New MacBook Air Has Been Completely Redesigned Around M2
Built solely around M2, the MacBook Air features a totally new design that is very thin from every angle. It is only 2.7 pounds and 11.3 mm thick, with a robust, all-aluminium unibody casing that feels wonderfully sturdy and is meant to last. This thin and light design combines its components so efficiently that it results in a 20% volume reduction. With M2’s power efficiency, all of the features of the MacBook Air are integrated into a fanless, silent design. In addition to silver and space grey, the MacBook Air now comes in two additional colours: midnight and starlight.
MagSafe returns to the MacBook Air, providing customers with a dedicated charging connector that is simple to attach while also safeguarding the MacBook Air when connected in by rapidly releasing if the charging wire is mistakenly yanked. The MacBook Air also has two Thunderbolt ports for attaching various peripherals, as well as a 3.5 mm audio socket that supports high-impedance headphones. New Liquid Retina Display (13.6-inch)

The MacBook Air comes with a variety of charging choices, including an all-new 35W compact power adapter with two USB-C connections, allowing users to charge two devices at the same time. For the first time, the MacBook Air enables rapid charge, allowing it to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with an optional 67W USB-C power adapter.
