Apple announced that from June 10–14, 2024, it would hold its yearly Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC24) virtually. On opening day, there will be a special event in Apple Park where developers and students can celebrate in person.
The most recent developments in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS will be showcased at WWDC24, which is free for all developers. In keeping with its mission to support developers in improving their applications and games, Apple will also give attendees exclusive access to Apple specialists and new tools, frameworks, and feature information at this event.
Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, stated, “We’re so excited to connect with developers from all over the world for an amazing week of technology and community at WWDC24.” “The core values of WWDC are idea sharing and equipping our incredible developers with cutting-edge tools and resources to enable them to create even more amazing things.”
During the week, developers and students may enjoy WWDC24 on YouTube, the Apple Developer website, and the Apple Developer app. Developers can also learn about the newest Apple software and innovations by watching the keynote. The conference this year will feature video sessions, chances to interact with Apple engineers and designers, and connections to the global developer community.
On June 10, developers will be able to attend the keynote at Apple Park, interact with Apple team members, and participate in exclusive activities as part of the in-person WWDC24 experience. There will be a limited number of spaces available, so visit the Apple Developer website and app for information on how to apply.
One of the initiatives Apple has launched to encourage the next generation of developers, innovators, and entrepreneurs is the Swift Student Challenge, which the company is happy to support. The results of this year’s contest will be sent to candidates on March 28, after which winners may apply for the in-person experience at Apple Park. Fifty Distinguished Winners will be invited to Cupertino for a three-day event after being recognized for their exceptional applications.
Before WWDC24, Apple will release more conference details on its website and app for developers.
