Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit on October 24 in Maui, Hawaii

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is expected to deliver a significant improvement in performance and battery efficiency over its predecessor, will be unveiled on the day Qualcomm announced. On October 24-26, the company will make an earlier than normal announcement about its new flagship SoC.

As has been custom, Qualcomm will host the Snapdragon Summit in Maui, Hawaii, although it will take place roughly a month sooner than in 2017. In place of the 1+2+2+3 utilized in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2 series, the chip will, as currently known, have a new 1+5+2 architecture.

The SoC is claimed to include an Adreno 750 GPU, 5 Cortex-A720 cores, 2 Cortex-A520 cores, and 1 Cortex-X4 prime core, which should result in a considerable improvement in performance. Moreover, the Processor package will increase the L3 cache from 8MB to 10MB.

Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station asserts that the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to use Qualcomm’s new flagship chip in November, with the Vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, OnePlus 12, and Realme GT5 following suit in the following months.
