Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI leaked Official renders

The upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI specifications were extensively leaked a few hours ago. Now, several official-looking renders of the phone have surfaced, revealing a design that is surprisingly similar to the Xperia 1 V from the previous year, save for the new and much-rumored change in screen aspect ratio (it’s wider and less tall this time).

Sony Xperia 1 VI

It is clear that the Xperia 1 VI retains its larger “chin” and “forehead” bezels, therefore a hole-punch cutout at the top to accommodate the selfie camera is not necessary. Though their official marketing names are unknown, the phone is anticipated to be available in the two hues in these photos.

The screen is flat, and the left side is empty. The power button, which also functions as a fingerprint scanner, the volume controls, and the camera shutter key are on the right side. The Xperia 1 VI will be available with an official kickstand cover from Sony.

According to previously reported specifications, it should include a triple rear camera configuration with a 16mm ultrawide, a 24mm primary camera, and an 85-170mm periscope telephoto zoom camera. It should also have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU and 12/16GB of RAM. A 5,000 mAh battery will power it. The screen will include a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a new aspect ratio of 19.5:9.

Sony Xperia 10 VI

Next up is the Sony Xperia 10 VI, which is expected to be the company’s mid-range smartphone for 2024. It may be unveiled during the company’s May 17 launch event with the Xperia 1 VI. Compared to its predecessor’s three back cameras, it has only two, and it is evident from the leaked promotional materials that the dedicated telephoto camera was taken out. Thus, all you get is the primary camera and an ultrawide.

Although its main appearance is identical to that of the Xperia 10 VI, there are a few more minor changes than there were with the Xperia 1 VI. The 10 VI’s camera island, which appears to naturally grow from the rear plate, gives it a more contemporary and fun appearance. It will appear. as you can see, in three hues. With the “chin” and “forehead” bezels remaining significantly larger than those of the Xperia 1 V and 1 VI, the front side seems to be identical to the Xperia 10 V.

Like the Xperia 1 VI, the Xperia 10 VI has a 3.5 mm headphone socket, and Sony will also sell a kickstand cover for it. Rumor has it that the 10 VI will have 6 or 8GB of RAM. Regretfully, no other information on this phone has surfaced; however, should it be released later this month, further updates should be forthcoming.
