New Google Pixel 9 features leaked before launch

Pixel-9-Pro-leaks

The Google Pixel 9 has been the subject of constant leaks. Fresh details keep appearing. A recent leak shows new features. They are Pixel screenshots, the Add Me tool, and updates to Magic Editor. Additionally, the anticipated colors of the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro were visible. A few movies feature the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL if that isn’t enough.

Google Pixel 9 series feature details

We can see the Add Me function in a leaked Google Pixel 9 Pro ad. OnLeaks posted it through AndroidHeadlines.  It displays a person using a Pixel 9 Pro to take a picture of her two pals in front of a van. She trades places, and her friends capture her image alongside the van. The Google Pixel 9 Pro seems to have stitched the two images together. It made one picture with the three buddies in it. The photographer sees transparent images of the first subjects as they appear. The image appears ordinary after digital refinement.

The same movie shows the Pixel Screenshots function. It lets you search for a memory by entering a prompt. Google will use Gemini AI to search all the screenshots. It will find the one with the specified memory. Also, you can ask Gemini AI to summarize your screenshots. You can also ask questions about them.

Then there’s the new Magic Editor. It lets you change your image backgrounds based on prompts.

Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro new colors (leak)

  • The Google Pixel 9 will be available in Obsidian, Porcelain, Green, and Rose colors.

  • Google Pixel 9 Pro colors could include Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel, and Rose.

Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL videos have leaked

The Pixel 9 Pro is in the colors from the first post, an X post by Andy Bowyer. A closer look at the back camera panel, its glossy side frame, and the design is also provided.

Next, the Ukrainian YouTube channel Andro-news.com has a video. It shows a prototype of the Pixel 9 Pro XL in a rumored Obsidian color (see below). Some claim that this prototype model does not work. The YouTuber shows the phone’s design. He contrasts its look with that of the Pixel 8 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S24 Ultra seems a little bit taller than the previous Pixel, but it looks about the same size.

We expect leaks to increase as we approach the Made by Google event on August 13. Thus, keep an eye out for them!
