The Vivo V27 series is now official, and three smartphones—the Vivo V27 Pro, Vivo V27, and Vivo V27e—have been unveiled. The three phones all have top-tier cameras and outstanding portrait features, but most importantly, they are all going to be sold for less than $500.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • In India, the Vivo V27 series has been formally unveiled.
  • The Vivo V27 series comes with an Android 13 OS, a triple camera system, a color-changing back panel, and a curved AMOLED display.
  • The starting pricing for the Vivo V27 series in India is Rs 32,999.

Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro

There is only one significant difference between these two phones, and that is the Mediatek chipset. The Dimensity 8200, a competent 4 nm platform with a 3.1 GHz CPU for nearly premium smartphones, is installed in the Pro. The standard model is powered by a Dimensity 7200, which is likewise manufactured using a 4 nm process. However, the fastest CPU cores are only clocked at 2.8 GHz, and the GPU is still the Mali-G610.

Below are all the specs these two phones have in common after we address the differences. They have a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Full HD+ resolution thanks to Vivo.

The most notable component of both devices is the camera configuration. The 50 MP main camera of the Vivo V27 Pro and V27 has a unique Sony IMX766V sensor, an f/1.8 aperture, with OIS. A 2 MP macro camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera are the other two cameras on the rear. Just close to the top lens is a ring LED flash as well.

The 50 MP with Autofocus front-facing camera, which is hidden by a punch hole, is equally noteworthy. Real-Time Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Video, and so-called Hybrid Image Stabilization, which automatically corrects shakiness in videos, are just a few of the software upgrades Vivo has added to the phones to make them more photo and video-friendly.

The software is Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13. The phones also feature Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz/5 GHz, and dual-mode 5G on both SA and NSA networks. The 4,600 mAh battery with 66W rapid charging is connected to the USB-C port on the bottom of both the standard and Pro models.

Although the 182g bodies of the two phones are identical, the Pro model only comes in the Magic Blue color, which changes color when exposed to sunlight or other UV light, or the standard Noble Black color, while the vanilla model is also available in Emerald Green and Flowing Gold.

The Vivo V27 Pro comes in three memory configurations: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB, and 12/256 GB. The initial price is $459, however, it may alter based on the state of the local market. Pre-order costs in India are as follows: 38,000 for 8/128GB, 40,000 for 8/256GB, and 43,000 for 12/256GB (please note that these prices include a slight reduction of 6-11%). We have already reviewed it and found that it is a superb phone with a really appealing appearance.

At $399, the Vivo V27 is available with 8/256 GB or 12/256 GB of memory; once more, prices may vary significantly among nations and regions. The V27 will be available starting on March 23; the price for India is not yet disclosed.

Vivo V27e

The Vivo V27e is designed for areas without 5G networks because it only has an LTE-capable Mediatek Helio G99 chipset. The three cameras on the rear of the V27e are arranged vertically and are almost identical, however, their combination is 64 MP main with OIS + 2 MP bokeh + 2 MP macro. The selfie camera has a fixed focus and is 32 MP.

The flat screen and flat sides of the Vivo V27e set it apart from the other two phones. A 120 Hz refresh rate is supported by the 6.62″ AMOLED display. Memory is 8 GB and storage is 128 GB; the Extended RAM function in the Settings menu allows for an additional 8 GB of RAM.

This phone has taken the Funtouch OS 13, which is based on Android 13, and the 4,600 mAh battery with 66W quick charging from its more powerful brothers. Its base is only 7.7 mm thick, which is incredibly tiny.
