According to the most recent Google hardware leaks, the company is getting set to introduce a brand-new color for the Pixel Buds Pro and A-Series models. Google’s forthcoming mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 7a, is claimed to be perfectly compatible with this new coloring.

Kuba Wojciechowski, a well-known Android leaker, tweeted the information earlier today along with renderings of what the buds will look like. This new “sky” or “arctic” blue color will reportedly be available in both the affordable Pixel Buds A-Series and the Pixel Buds Pro, which is very good news for those who were hoping for a new set of less expensive Pixel Buds.

These new A-Series appear to have white exteriors, just like its predecessor, if the leaked renders are any indicator. But, the earphones themselves and the interior of the battery case cover will both have that baby blue tint.

Wojciechowski also claims that a similar hue will be made available for the Pixel Buds Pro, though no information was given as to whether this indicates that the Buds Pro will also be updated or if a new color would be added to the current selection. No renders of the Pixel Buds Pro were tweeted with them.

While Google’s most current mid-range phone will apparently be offered in a shade of “Arctic Blue” that is quite similar to the one being produced for these new hues, it is believed that these new colors are being created to coincide with the future Pixel 7a. The Pixel 7a will be the first blue Pixel since the 4a if the report is confirmed. The updated Pixel 7a and new headphones are anticipated to be presented during Google I/O, which typically takes place in May.
