We advise switching to Developer Preview 1 right away if you plan to go from the Android 14 QPR Beta program to the Android 15 Developer Preview program and don’t want to have to erase your device. If not, there can be times when the build date of the Android 14 Beta is higher than the Android 15 Developer Preview, preventing you from switching straight to the Developer Preview without first wiping your data.
We’ll be encouraging users to test Android 15 as we get closer to our beta releases, and that’s also when we’ll be opening up enrollment for the Android Beta program. Please be aware that Android 15 does not currently support the Android Beta program.
