Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, its most recent flagship smartphone, during an event in China. The display is a 6.73-inch 2K OLED 1-120Hz LTPO C7 with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset powers the phone.

Loop Liquid Cool technology is included in the phone. This claims a 3x cooling increase over conventional VCs through the use of vapour-liquid a separation design and a one-way circulation structure. According to the company, this provides equivalent thermal conductivity that is greater than three times that of standard VCs and heat dissipation capacity that is greater than 10W.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Camera

The phone boasts four 50MP back cameras with six different focal lengths, Leica optics, and a Summicron lens that was jointly developed by Leica. A 50MP 23mm Leica primary camera with a 1-inch IMX989 sensor and a new physical two-stop aperture toggling between f/1.9 and f/4.0 is included on the phone.

For ultrawide at 12mm, 3.2x telephoto at 75mm, and the new super-telephoto at 120mm, as well as the additional 46mm and 240mm lengths with the In-Sensor-Zoom, there are three 50MP IMX858 sensors. According to the manufacturer, three of the cameras have an aperture wider than /2.0, which allows for faster shutter times, faster recording of unmissable natural moments, and more light and shallow, soft depth of field.

End-to-end Dolby Vision recording and playback are supported by the phone. Moreover, it supports 8K video and 10-bit images that are up to 14-bit Ultra RAW.

Dust and water resistance are rated at IP68. According to Xiaomi, it utilizes second-generation nanotech silicone leather technology, which is antibacterial and anti-yellowing in addition to being resistant to fingerprints and smudges. It noted that its bacterial inhibition rate might increase to 99%.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Battery

The Xiaomi Surge P2 Charging Chip and Xiaomi Surge G1 Battery Management Chip enable 90W wired turbocharging, 50W wireless turbocharging, and reverse wireless charging on the 5,000mAh battery within the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

According to Xiaomi, the phone offers a number of battery health features and can calculate battery life at incredibly fine resolutions. When the battery is low, a new hibernation mode that restricts background operations and provides an additional 60 minutes of standby will automatically activate.
