Asus today also launched the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition in addition to the ROG Phone 6D series. The new special edition smartphone is modelled like one of the most well-known superheroes from the DC Comics universe, as the name implies.
Two variations of this particular handset are available. While the rest of the globe receives ROG Phone 6D with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC, the smartphone in North America is built on ROG Phone 6 and features Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor.

On the rear panel of the phone, there are Batman-related design features, including an RGB Batman insignia. The software, which is based on Android 12, is also highly themed like the superhero. Along with a personalised lock screen, live wallpaper, icon pack, charging animation, fingerprint unlock animation, AOD (Always-on Display) style, music effects, and other features, it also has a charging animation.
The smartphone comes packaged with many accessories in a specialised retail box. Customers receive a personalised Aero Case, a hard shell case, a charger, a USB cable, a SIM ejector, and a fantastic Bat-Signal searchlight mini-projector that is powered by USB Type-C.
The ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition has the same hardware as the standard ROG Phone 6, as was already established. It has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, and 12GB of RAM. With a 50MP IMX766 main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera, the gadget has a triple camera configuration on the back. It includes a 12MP selfie camera on the front.
A sizable 6,000mAh battery with 65W wired fast charging compatibility, symmetrical stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and ultrasonic triggers for gaming are among the other noteworthy features.
Two versions of the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition will be available from Asus. In contrast, it will ship in other countries using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC. The MediaTek version will cost €1,199 (about $1,199) and be available in a number of locations in the upcoming weeks. The price and availability information for the Qualcomm version coming to North America is currently unknown, according to Asus.
Unfortunately, the cost of the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition for the US and Canada hasn’t been made public by the firm.
