Nothing unveiled its very first smartphone. The recyclable aluminium Nothing Phone (1) has a distinctive back design with a clear glass panel and a Glyph Interface. According to the user’s preferences, the LED lights may turn on for calls, app alerts, charging status, and more. Starting on July 21, Flipkart and Nothing’s official websites will both be selling the Nothing Phone (1), which has a starting price of Rs 32,999.
The Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and Nothing OS based on Android 12 are further features of the Nothing Phone (1). According to the manufacturer, the phone will get four years of security patches in addition to three years of Android updates. Additionally, it includes a unique game style for an engaging gaming experience.

Black and White are the two colour options for the Nothing Phone (1). On July 21st at 7:00 PM IST, Flipkart and Nothing’s official website will start taking orders. There are three versions of the Nothing Phone (1): 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM/256GB storage.
The base 8GB RAM/128GB storage model of the Nothing Phone (1) costs Rs 32,999 in India, followed by the 8GB RAM/256GB storage unit at Rs 35,999 and the 12GB RAM/256GB storage device at Rs 38,999. The business provides a Rs 1,000 discount on Nothing Phone as part of the launch deal (1).

The 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED display on the Nothing Phone (1) has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixel resolution, HDR10+, 402PPI, and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor powers the Phone (1), while an Adreno 642L GPU handles graphic requirements. It has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The two back cameras of the Nothing Phone (1) include both OIS and EIS image stabilisation. A 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with a 1.88 m main aperture plus a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with a 2.2 m ultra-wide lens make up the camera system. For selfies and video calls, the front camera’s 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor has a 2.45 aperture.
The phone has a 4,500mAh battery that supports both 15W Qi wireless charging and 33W rapid charging. According to the manufacturer, the rapid charger can recharge the Phone (1) up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Wi-Fi 6 and 802.11 a/b/g/, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, in-display fingerprint reader, face recognition, dual stereo speakers, and IP53 certification are among the connection characteristics of the Nothing Phone (1). Nothing OS, which is based on Android 12, comes preinstalled on the Nothing Phone (1). For the Nothing Phone, Nothing guarantees three years of Android upgrades and four years of security fixes every two months (1).
