The Google Pixel 8 is expected to be introduced in May 2023 and will serve as the company’s entry-level flagship in its premium smartphone portfolio for 2023. The design renderings of the forthcoming Pixel flagship smartphone, which have been provided by tipster OnLeaks ahead of the announcement, show that it will continue to include a dual-camera system. Telephoto camera sensors are probably not going to be included in the phone; they could still be reserved for the Pixel 8 Pro. On the projecting visor, outside the oval-shaped camera module, there is an LED flash.

The phone is a lot more rounded around the corners. This itself gives the Pixel 8 a different look compared to the boxy design of the Pixel 7. The change in design also has resulted in the Pixel 8 sporting a smaller display. OnLeaks tells us that the Pixel 8 will have a circa 5.8-inch display. The screen will remain flat and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

The Pixel 8 is also smaller than its predecessor, according to OnLeaks. The phone will measure roughly about 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm. If you include the thick camera visor, the Pixel 8 will measure 12mm.

The power and volume controls are located on the right edge of the curved frame. Also, the frame contains some antenna lines that indicate the phone will have a metal chassis. The USB Type-C port with cutouts for the microphone and main speaker is located at the bottom edge.
