A few weeks ago, we exclusively disclosed that Samsung will release the Galaxy S23 FE in a few countries later this year. The Galaxy S23 FE design was leaked months before the device’s release. The fact that the phone shares a lot of similarities with the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ in terms of design is not surprising. In contrast, it seems a little less expensive.
In partnership with SmartPrix, tipster @OnLeaks has unveiled the Galaxy S23 FE design. If the measurements used to create these images are true, the Galaxy S23 FE appears to feature bezels that are rather thick and unevenly spaced around the screen. The 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen on the phone appears to be there. Also, it resembles the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ in that it has what appears to be a triple camera arrangement on the back. With the Galaxy S21 FE, the camera island design has been replaced by three separate camera rings.
The edges and sides of the phone are curved. We anticipate the phone to have an in-display fingerprint reader since it doesn’t appear to have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Galaxy S23 FE is described as having dimensions of 58 x 76.3 x 8.2mm. We anticipate the Galaxy S23 FE will have a glass back, similar to the Galaxy A54 5G, which has glass on the front and back as opposed to the plastic backs of the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE.

According to earlier sources, the Exynos 2200 engine, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, a 4,500mAh battery, and 25W fast charging will all be included with the Galaxy S23 FE. A 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a separate telephoto camera could all be included. The resolution of the selfie camera on the Galaxy S23 FE is unknown. The phone should also include stereo speakers, wireless charging, and an IP67 rating.
The primary camera on the Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to include a 50MP sensor comparable to those in the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 handsets, which is another intriguing possible update. Given that the previous Galaxy S23 FE model had a 12MP camera, this upgrade would surely improve the photography experience. The additional camera sensors are still largely unknown.
Samsung has not yet formally revealed the Galaxy S23 FE release date, but rumors suggest that it could be unveiled with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 the newest iterations of foldable smartphones. These products are likely to be unveiled at the second Samsung Unpacked Event, which is scheduled to hold on July 26, 2023, the following month.
