A number of certifications for the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro were given in the middle of August, indicating that it will soon be available, and today Samsung has made it official.
According to KC Choi, EVP and Head of Global Mobile B2B Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics, “the current “work from anywhere” world has created an enormous need for ruggedized, portable, and connected devices that ensure tasks get completed wherever the job takes you. The versatile Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro was designed with this in mind: “We wanted to make a tablet that is not only strong and comfortable to hold but also has the performance and connection to boost productivity and keep front-line personnel interested throughout their workday.

Listening to device noises in the field may be challenging, which may cause confusion or blunders. With a large increase in maximum volume, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro solves this issue and makes it possible for employees to hear well even in a crowded hospital ward or a noisy construction site.
With this one, toughness is the name of the game and undoubtedly its biggest selling feature. The tablet has a 7,600 mAh detachable battery, a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 TFT LCD touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 5, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of storage, microSD card compatibility, and an unidentified “6nm Octa-Core Processor,” which the Google Play Console claims to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. Even in hot settings, it may be operated by connecting to the mains without a battery. With it is an S Pen stylus.
GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, hybrid dual-SIM capabilities that are only accessible in North America for some reason, and a fingerprint sensor integrated into the Home key are all supported by the smartphone. It is 10.2mm thick and 674g in weight. Samsung’s One UI is installed on top of Android 12.
The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro is a highly effective tool for retail companies because of its mobile Knox Platform for POS (Point of Sale) and increased near-field communication (NFC) capabilities. The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro makes it faster and smoother for clients to check out whether it is installed at a cash register or used as a portable point of sale, which helps keep customers satisfied. Additionally, the tablet may serve as an enterprise-grade barcode scanner with Knox Capture to track and verify inventories in real time.
The Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and its S Pen have an IP68 rating, making them resistant to sand, dust, and water. They can even handle being underwater in fresh water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 metres. The tablet has also undergone MIL-STD-810H testing to ensure that it can endure a wide range of environmental conditions, including altitude, humidity, immersion, salt spray, dust, vibration, and drops from 1m naked or 1.2m if you’re using the included case.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro will be on sale starting in September “in areas of Europe,” with availability in Asia, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East to follow “early in 2022.”
