Asus upcoming gaming phone has received a lot of information, but until today, no pictures of the device had surfaced online. We have excellent news for Asus fans: the ROG Phone 7 retains the design aesthetic of the previous models in every way.
The ROG Phone 7 is a large, bulky phone that will weigh heavily in your pocket, just like every previous model (images via MySmartPrice). It’s also quite slippery if Asus decides to utilize the same shiny material (a fingerprint magnet too). On the plus side, the ROG Phone 7 is unquestionably an excellent pick if you prefer to dress to please and will stand out.
Asus ROG Phone series must have large screens, strong technology, and enough space to enable a good cooling system; thus, the weight and size are inevitable drawbacks. These are the costs and benefits players must weigh to play the games they want on the go.
The Asus ROG Phone 7’s specifications are pretty amazing but hardly surprising. The device is said to include a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, at least 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. The 6.8-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, another important aspect of the phone, offers a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate.
The Sony IMX766 sensor included with the 50-megapixel primary camera is another significant device that will likely please series enthusiasts. The phone has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, two extra cameras on the back (13MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro), and two other cameras.
The ROG Phone 7 comes with an Aero Active Cooler device and a large 6,000 mAh battery (65W fast charging capabilities). As we’ve previously said, the ROG Phone 7 will soon be available and will fill the vacuum left by Lenovo’s recently retired Legion series.
