Designs

There are no significant differences in the designs of these three phones. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is the least impressive since it has a waterdrop notch rather than an attractive punch-hole display. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is the most intriguing since it has the same design and punch-hole display as the Galaxy A73 5G, but it is more compact due to the existence of a smaller display. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, on the other hand, is slimmer and lighter. Unfortunately, these phones are not made of high-quality materials: they feature a polycarbonate shell, similar to inexpensive phones. However, they are all water-resistant with IP67 certification, which is difficult to find on midrange devices.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G have the most modern screens, and they are on the same level. These two phones have Super AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, as well as Gorilla Glass 5 protection and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The only significant difference between these two screens is the diagonal: the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has a 6.5-inch panel, and the Galaxy A73 5G has a larger 6.7-inch panel. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is slightly inferior, with a lower 90 Hz refresh rate, a smaller 6.4-inch diagonal, and a waterdrop notch rather than a punch hole.

Hardware/Software

Choose the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G if you require the most powerful phone. It is the only one with the Snapdragon 778G mobile platform, which is more powerful than the Samsung Exynos 1280 found in the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A53 5G. The highest-end memory configuration of these phones is the same, with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage that can be expanded further with a micro SD card. The entire trio is powered by Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
