Samsung has now revealed the date of its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, during which the Galaxy S23 series will be announced. For the first time in three years, the South Korean internet titan will conduct an offline launch event on February 1 at 10 p.m. in San Francisco, California.

The Galaxy Unpacked event will be webcast live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and the official YouTube channel. Leaked teasers for the Galaxy S23 series indicate that the firm may highlight the S23’s photography capabilities.

According to rumours, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will sport the same 50-megapixel (primary, with OIS), 12-megapixel (ultra-wide), and 10-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit as the S22 and S22+. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, will be the first phone from Samsung to include a 200-megapixel camera. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 10-megapixel periscope zoom camera will help it.

According to leaked marketing videos, low-light photography will be one of the S23 trio’s key strengths. According to other rumours, Samsung’s collaboration with prominent social media businesses would allow the S23 series to snap better images using applications like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

According to reports, the Galaxy S23 series will be powered by a customised version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The rest of the S23 trio’s specifications may be nearly identical to the S22 series. Now that the company has officially announced the date for its upcoming Unpacked event, it looks that additional teasers for the S23 series will be released in the following days.
