Nothing Ear and Ear (a) released

Nothing’s most recent earbuds are available in two designs and pricing ranges: the €149/$149/£129 and the €99/$99/£99 Nothing Ear (a). Not a single ear. The new flagship product, Nothing Ear, is a straight replacement for Nothing Ear (2) from last year, while Nothing Ear (a) is meant to bridge the gap as the more reasonably priced entry. The new earphones’ ChatGPT integration, which enables you to call up the AI assistant with a pinch motion, was also unveiled by Nothing.

Nothing Ear receives upgraded 11mm dynamic drivers with two more vents to enhance airflow and produce a cleaner sound signature, along with a ceramic diaphragm for richer, sharper highs. Nothing offers enhanced Smart ANC, which automatically detects noise leaks and modifies the ANC accordingly, along with LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codec support for high-bitrate streaming.

With an Advanced Equalizer option on the Nothing X companion app that allows you to adjust and share your tweaks with pals, Nothing is also adding additional control over sound.

Nothing Ear connects with other devices using Bluetooth 5.3 and supports Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, and dual device pairing. Additionally, Nothing included new conversation microphones with Clear speech Technology to improve call clarity and speech pickup.

When using the earphones without ANC, the battery life is rated for 8.5 hours (5.2 hours with ANC) and 40.5 hours when using the charging case. With Qi chargers that are compatible, you may enjoy wireless charging up to 2.5W and wired charging via USB-C.
