Google teases the Pixel Fold

Google teased the Pixel Fold with the words “May the Fold Be With You” in advance of I/O 2023.

The triple camera arrangement on the back and the similarly glossy hinge are the first things we notice about the Pixel Fold in white (black is also anticipated). The foldable is then fully opened from two angles. While the second shows the inner screen is opened, the first shows how thin the Pixel Fold is, even with the camera bump. Off the front screen with an always-on display, the final shot is taken.

The first foldable phone created by Google, according to a hashtag and a statement on the Google Store, is the “Pixel Fold.”

This 8-second clip comes with the following “Coming soon” disclaimer: “This device has not been authorized in accordance with the rules of the Federal Communications Commission or other regulators. It is prohibited to sell or otherwise distribute this device until all necessary legal authorizations have been obtained.

The FCC approved it last week, revealing its Ultrawide Band (UWB) capabilities.

In addition to the Star Wars theme of it all, the Pixel Fold’s design has been extensively leaked over the previous few months, including just this past weekend. By completing this six days early, Google gains nothing.
