New Type of Professional Camera System

A “quad-pixel” sensor is used in the primary camera on the back of the device, which is a first for Apple but is now fairly dated in the Android community. The sensor boasts a 48MP resolution, yet the phone only takes photos at 12MP by default. Finally, the optical image stabilization-equipped 3x telephoto camera is still available.

The two smartphones’ central processing unit, the A16 Bionic processor, has a six-core CPU with two performance cores and four efficiency cores. The CPU’s two highly effective cores use 20% less power than those in the A15, and it is said to be 40% quicker overall than the competition. The 5-core GPU has 50% more memory bandwidth than the 16-core Neural Engine in the A16, which can perform 17 trillion operations per second.
