In photographs the design of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series has been revealed.

The backs of the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra, which will be released in early 2022, are shown in two photographs. The photographs back with prior rumours about the design. Over time, more and more details about the Galaxy S22 series are revealed. Samsung will most likely officially present the new Series range in February 2022, at a specially organized Galaxy Unpacked event.

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra

Galaxy S22 is a series of Samsung smartphones.

After LetsGoDigital unveiled the Galaxy S22 Ultra design in October, the first photos showing Samsung’s new flagship model have appeared online. Additionally, Twitterer Yogesh Brar today posted two photos showing third-party mockups of the three models in the series. S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. The Ultra model has a distinctly different design from its two younger siblings, with far fewer rounded corners and a curved screen. It will also be the only new model in the S series with an S Pen compartment. This could result in Samsung also changing its name. It is rumoured that the flagship model will be marketed as the  Galaxy S22 Note.

Although the Samsung S22 / S22 + has many design similarities with the S21 / S21 +, this time the camera system will be significantly improved. The new models are also slightly smaller. The base model is expected to have a 6.1-inch screen, the Plus will have a 6.6-inch screen. Both have a Full HD + AMOLED display. The Ultra model has an extra large and crisp 6.8-inch QHD + AMOLED display. All three Galaxy S22 models will run on the Android 12 operating system and will be powered by the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which delivers outstanding performance.

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra

In some regions, the not yet officially launched Exynos 2200 SoC may be released. However, it looks like Samsung is having serious production issues, which means this processor will be used in fewer regions than originally anticipated. As for colours,  base and larger models will be available in black, white, rose gold, and green upon release. The Samsung S22 Ultra is expected to release in black, white, olive green, and red. SamMobile revealed last week that prices will stay the same as this year at least for the base model. If we extend it to the whole range, that would mean that the recommended retail price is set as follows:

Samsung Galaxy S22 8GB / 128GB : €850

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus 12GB / 128GB : €1,050

Samsung Galaxy S22 Note 12GB / 128GB : €1,250

Samsung is expected to formally unveil the Galaxy S22 series on February 8, 2022. Pre-orders for the new phone variants will be available from that point forward. On Friday, February 18, 2022, the film will be released.

Samsung has patents for a rotating and rollable display on its Galaxy Watch.

You might read more about a rolling Samsung Galaxy smartwatch in development with a sliding screen and camera on LetsGoDigital earlier this week. While several smartwatches with flexible displays have been shown and even launched before, such as the Nubia Alpha, this was the first time we saw one with a rollable screen.

Samsung Galaxy smartwatch rotating and rollable display

This invention, however, is not unique; Samsung Electronics recently received a patent for a winding linked watch. The latest Samsung model is considerably more sophisticated, with the ability to swivel on the wrist. Depending on the programme, this will zoom the screen horizontally or vertically. For the user, this opens up a slew of new possibilities.

Samsung’s rollable smartwatch features compatibility for the S Pen.

This is a patent that Samsung Electronics filed on May 3, 2021, with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). The documentation titled “Electronic device including a flexible display and its operation” was released on December 9, 2021. It is a detailed patent that occupies no less than 113 pages – I do not remember having dealt with a patent any more. prolonged. This watch is therefore full of possibilities, unlike anything we’ve seen before. The patented Samsung Galaxy Watch has a square screen. it’s a crown on the side. However, this is mainly done through the touchscreen. Surprisingly, the documentation also talks about compatibility with a stylus. Samsung naturally has several smartphones in its range with an S Pen. Think of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 are also compatible with Samsung’s S Pen. Just like the Galaxy S22 Ultra expected in February. Tablets like the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus can also be used with the Samsung stylus. Smartwatches, on the other hand, have a significantly smaller screen, which means the benefits of a stylus are minimal.

Samsung Galaxy smartwatch rotating and rollable display

The screen on this smartwatch, on the other hand, can be expanded, so Samsung is exploring making it compatible with a stylus. Due to the device’s size, an S Pen container will certainly be impossible to incorporate. It will, however, be functional with a stylus. There is no apparent bezel between the two halves of the screen this time, unlike the spherical rollable smartwatch that LetsGoDigital revealed earlier this week. Samsung was able to resolve the issue internally, which we’ll discuss later in this article. The top of the frame detaches from the bottom of the frame when the screen is removed.

A semi-circular rail is positioned between them so that it remains a sturdy and elegant whole. When fully extended, the screen is twice as large as in the most compact position. Where 12 icons can be displayed as standard, it is 24 in the extended position – this can be inferred from the patent illustrations. The screen isn’t as big as the foldable smartwatch  Oppo released in 2019, but you can obviously work much more efficiently on such a large screen.

Samsung is working on a smartwatch with a rollable display and camera.

Samsung has already introduced many foldable smartphones, the most current of which is the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Samsung is anticipated to release further consumer products with flexible displays in the future.

samsung Galaxy rollable display smartwatch

Consider a foldable tablet or a Samsung roll-up TV, for example. A new age has begun with the introduction of flexible displays. According to a newly granted patent, Samsung is also working on a rollable wristwatch in the background. This is a Galaxy Watch that has two display elements that can be swapped out at any time. A camera and video recorder are also included in the wristwatch.

Samsung’s smartwatch can fold up.

Samsung Electronics submitted a patent for an “electronic device containing a roll-up screen and an associated display technique” with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) on June 2, 2021. On December 9, 2021, the 96-page material was made public. This is a Samsung Galaxy Watch with a screen that rolls up. It’s a full-size watch with two Samsung semi-circular display elements in its most compact configuration. is a physical experience The roll-up screen may be extended by mounting a narrow bezel between the two portions of the panel. From the centre, the display area is expanded.

samsung Galaxy rollable display smartwatch

In the fully extended position, the screen area is approximately 40% larger than in the most compact position. Users can zoom in and out on the Samsung roll up to watch the screen as they wish by pressing the crown on the side of the watch case. It is also possible to perform a scrolling movement on the screen, after which the display area is reduced/enlarged – as shown in the figure of the patent mentioned above.

samsung Galaxy rollable display smartwatch

The user has an oval-shaped screen in the open position, on which it is evident that more material may be displayed than in the compact configuration. Only one or two areas of the screen can be displayed at a time, depending on the user’s preference. Depending on the application, this can also be changed. The control components, for example, can be displayed on the tiny portion of the screen, and the related programme can subsequently be presented on the big part of the screen. A camera is also housed in the midframe. a split second This camera can take both photos and movies. This isn’t the first smartwatch with a flexible display, by the way.

samsung Galaxy rollable display smartwatch

samsung Galaxy rollable display smartwatch

Take the Nubia Alpha smartwatch, for example. This watch, however, does not feature a scrolling screen; instead, a reasonably lengthy screen was chosen. Samsung’s proprietary technology is even more advanced. It’s also a pretty extensive patent, with discussions of not only the design but also numerous operating choices. Although it is unclear when or when Samsung will introduce a rollable Galaxy Watch, the firm is expected to debut a rollable smartphone soon.

The 1-inch Image Sensor marketing trick on the Sony Xperia PRO-I ?

Sony Xperia PROI, which has a 1-inch broad bottom and is Sony’s most costly phone, was released last month. The Xperia PROI’s most impressive feature is its 1-inch picture sensor.

sony 1-inch image sensor

Some phones with image sensors on the market, such as the ISOCELL GN2 sensor, have a smaller area than the 1-inch image sensor, with a size of only 1 / 1.12 inches. Some users afterwards pointed out that the Xperia PROI lens is unable to completely “utilise” a 1-inch picture sensor. Is the sensor phone nothing more than a marketing gimmick? People who are familiar with photography know that the greater the sensor area, under comparable technical conditions, the sharper the picture that may be obtained.
sony 1-inch image sensor

The Exmor RS  image sensor 1-inch CMOS may not seem like much in the camera industry, but when placed in the smartphone industry, it’s a pinnacle of existence. And it’s also the biggest area image sensor used in the mobile phone industry. So by the way, the advertising effect, the 1. Type 0 image sensor / 1-inch image sensor phone effect to take full advantage of marketing.

sony 1-inch image sensor

However, it is simple logic that the greater the image sensor area, the larger the lens should be. Mobile phones have a limited ability to lower the size of the lens, so it’s easy to dispute that “a 1-inch CMOS lens can’t fit into the phone” is an issue, or that the phone’s lens can’t “eat” the 1-inch CMOS sensor fully. Sony isn’t exactly “hidden” when it comes to this issue. Sony offered the following description in “Frequently Asked Questions About 1 Inch Image Sensors” on their official website.

sony 1-inch image sensor

sony 1-inch image sensor

“The actual area used is approximately 60% of the total area. only use 60%, which is dissatisfaction. For example, as a company that sells processors, the processor is designed to be 10 cores, but 4 cores are bad (or stuck), the maximum actually available is 6 cores. If you advertise a 6-core processor, there is nothing wrong with that. But if you’re selling with a 10-core processor, that’s a marketing gimmick. And this Sony is also the case, although it is said to be a 1-inch sensor r, the current 60% available. If you just look at the 1-inch image sensor, you think it is a revolutionary improvement in the cell phone industry. But the current 60% available, the revolutionary update becomes a small update.

Samsung introduces the ISOCELL GWB sensor, RGBW pixels and looks like a human eye.

Samsung revealed today in a webinar sponsored by TECNO Mobile that it is developing its first ISOCELL camera with an RGBW colour filter design. Its new camera sensor is known as ISOCELL GWB, and it boasts a resolution of 64 MP rather than 50 MP, contrary to prior rumours.

ISOCELL GWB

Samsung ISOCELL GWB was launched by Samsung Electronics China’s vice president and director of R&D, who described it as “the image sensor closest to the human eye.” The sensor’s sensitivity to light is improved by including a white pixel in the RGB colour filter model. Even in low-light situations, this clever sub-pixel layout allows for brighter photographs and higher colour fidelity while shooting shots.

It’s possible that the ISOCELL GWB will appear on a TECNO Mobile phone.

Samsung developed the ISOCELL GWB sensor in collaboration with Chinese smartphone manufacturer TECNO Mobile. This partnership indicates that  ISOCELL GWB will debut on an upcoming TECNO smartphone next year. However, it might not remain exclusive to the aforementioned Chinese brand, and other Samsung customers could benefit from this technological leap very soon.

ISOCELL GWB

Either way, the ISOCELL GWB doesn’t match the preliminary  Galaxy S22 series camera setup descriptions, so it won’t make its Galaxy Unpacked debut in February. The standard and S22 Plus models are expected to have 50MP primary sensors, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra is reportedly using a 108MP primary shooter. There’s a chance the ISOCELL GWB isn’t the only RGBW sensor Samsung has worked on, and maybe a 50MP RGBW solution could even arrive next year if the rumours are correct soon. Either way, we can be sure that the 64MP ISOCELL GWB won’t be the last RGBW sensor to come out of Samsung’s RandD Labs, even though it will apparently be the first to hit the market next year.

DualSense Spider-Man gaming controller for PlayStation 5.

Most of you may recall Giuseppe Spinelli’s exclusive PlayStation 5 game, Spiderman Miles Morales, alias Snoreyn. Before the PS5’s official debut a year ago, the creative Italian graphic designer produced a stunning limited-edition PS5 system idea for LetsGoDigital, based exclusively on the exclusive title Spiderman: Miles Morales.

Spider-Man PS5 DualSense Edition

This new DualSense controller is likewise well-designed, with a lovely shiny red spider web. This feedback has been very positive, with many people expressing optimism that Giuseppe’s concept will become a reality. The graphic designer and die-hard player were motivated to create his concept. The DualSense controller has been converted into a gorgeous unique Spiderman edition thanks to the collaboration with Italian airbrush artist Enrico Bertagnoli, nicknamed Berta.

Spider-Man PS5 DualSense Edition by Sony

The Italian duo attempted to create the controller as close to the original footage as feasible. Over the last month, the LetsGoDigital editorial team has been able to spend several hours playing with this unusual controller. It’s so much fun to play with this controller. The gamepad is adorned with a gleaming spider web. It’s really constructed of dark chrome red, which reflects the light nicely. It has a luxurious and whimsical feel about it, and it’s similar to Miles’ clothing.

Spider-Man PS5 DualSense Edition

Morales, The black gaming controller’s touchpad has the iconic “Be Yourself” tagline. Red components have also been added around and surrounding the buttons, giving the DualSense controller its unique individuality. Bert even managed to paint the light bulb, which when switched on displays a variety of colour combinations. When charging, this red glow is apparent as well.

The back of the controller was not visible in the video. In fact, you can see a beautiful spider here with a dull grey colour scheme. This DualSense controller has a very high-end look and feels, which offers even more gaming pleasure. A passionate project is born, it shows and feels. Noreyn and Berta pursued an incredibly high level of detail. From design to implementation. It is not really visible that this controller has been modified by hand. It takes many hours of hard work, but when you look at the result, it is worth it. Using only high-quality paint, the custom design continues to look good even after many hours of playing. Snoreyn also made a new video, with live images of the controller, as shown above. There is also a grouping box that is fully designed according to the original DualSense box guidelines.

Official renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.

To keep the Galaxy S22 series alive, Samsung has put back the release of the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Those hoping to get their hands on the fantastic Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will need to keep their fingers on the trigger at all times since Samsung will only make a limited number of them. Meanwhile, here are some drawings of the three tablets that famed leaker @Evleaks purchased.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 Plus have a striking resemblance in terms of style. These both have a selfie camera that is landscape-oriented and uses very visible glasses. Those two selfie camera sensors are housed in an iPhone / MacBook-style notch on the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. However, there is a compelling motive to be around.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

We previously learned that all three Galaxy Tab S8 variants may be available in two versions, one powered by the Exynos 2200 and the other powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It’s hard to say which market will get which variant. , but we can assume it’s similar to how Samsung plans to split the Galaxy S22 series.
